Green Teens

For teens in 6th – 12th grade

Want to make a difference in the world? Join the Green Teens club and discuss environmental issues, work on eco-friendly projects, go on field trips, and receive community service credit for participating. To join the club, you must fill out a Green Teens application available HERE along with the photo release form at any reference desk. Teen Writers Club

For teens in 6th – 12th grade
Oct. 4, Nov. 8, Dec. 13, 630-730pm

Do you LOVE to write? Stop by to hang out with fellow writers, discuss your ideas and get inspired with writing games and projects! Feel free to bring a piece of writing to share with the group. In the fall, we will be working on the creation of a literary magazine. Click here to register!

Teen Advisory Council

Teen Advisory Council members help to plan and implement Library programs, MCPL website, and provide input on Teen Services at MCPL. They also volunteer at various library events. To join TAC, fill out an application, contract, and photo release form.

Open Door TRC

Want a place to go with your friends to play games, watch movies and more? A place that’s fun and best of all FREE! Check out Open Door TRC every Friday night. REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.

Teen Computer Drop-In

Enjoy time on the laptops on your own or with a friend. (The Library’s Internet policy is applicable to all participants.) REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.
